The ideology that influenced the concept of Manifest Destiny primarily states that the Americans thought that they were responsible to make the world a “civilized “place. They believed that God bestowed upon them the responsibility to do this task. This particular thought of “exceptionalism” has triggered the ideology of the American expansion.
